Free River Thames Cruise
Your Big Bus Tours’ ticket enables you to hop-on and off any of the river boat services operated by our partners, City Cruises.
The river cruise includes live commentary and enables you to see the sights of London from a different angle. Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast, Shakespeare's Globe and the Tate Modern Art Gallery are just some of the famous highlights that line the riverside.
If you have purchased a 24 Hour ticket, you can travel on the Thames between Westminster Pier and the Tower of London. If you have purchased a 48 Hour ticket, the free River Thames cruise also offers you the chance to travel all the way to Greenwich and explore the National Maritime Museum and the Greenwich Royal Observatory. No matter how many times you tour the river, you'll always enjoy the sights and appreciate this unique view of London.
The river cruise departure times vary, but are approximately every 20 minutes in the summer and every 30-40 minutes in the winter. You can board the river cruise at Tower Pier, Westminster Pier or Waterloo Pier, however, please check with our staff on your day of travel.
Free London Walking Tours
Our London walking tours are led by a friendly Big Bus tour guide, taking you on relaxed walking tours that give you the opportunity to learn about specific parts of London's history. You are free to join as many of the walking tours as you wish.
The Royal London Walk - 10.20am
Learn about the history of St James’ Palace and Buckingham Palace, putting you in a prime position for the Changing of the Guard Ceremony.
The Harry Potter Film Locations Walk - 2pm
This walk reveals seven London locations which have featured in the Harry Potter Films.
The Ghosts by Gaslight Walk- 6pm
Discover London’s darker history with tales of ghosts, murder and the troubled times that litter London’s past.
The walking tours last approximately 1½ - 2 hours and leave from Trafalgar Square; Big Bus stop 10.

You can start your tour at any tour stop. The most popular start points are Baker Street Station, Green Park Station, Marble Arch, Victoria Station and Trafalgar Square.
Tours operate every day of the year except the 25th December.

Unless stipulated in the booking process all bookings require customers to print their voucher off in order to be exchanged for entry to the attraction or tour. We cannot guarantee entry without a printed voucher and will not be able to cancel or refund customers who do not print the vouchers and therefore can't gain access to the venue or tour.
