Celebrate the royal wedding with the 365Tickets bingo game

Have you been gripped by royal wedding fever? Is your house already decked with bunting ahead of Harry and Meghan’s big day? Are you swotting up on minor royals so you can impress friends and family by spotting Lady Rose Gilman and Lord Frederick Windsor on TV?

If you answered “yes” to any of the above, then you’ll be delighted to learn that 365Tickets has created a royal wedding bingo game to enhance your enjoyment of the impending nuptials. And even if you’re not particularly interested but have accepted that there’s simply no escaping it, we promise these bingo cards will immeasurably improve your viewing experience.

The royal wedding will be taking place at Windsor Castle on Saturday 19th May, with the ceremony itself to be held in St George’s Chapel (although presumably you already knew that). Unless you’ve made the guest list or fancy camping outside the castle for a week in advance, chances are you’ll be watching it like the rest of us – from the comfort of your sofa.

While the wedding date means we won’t get an extra bank holiday out of it, as we did with the 2011 wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, we can at least look forward to spotting some of the fascinating, iconic, weird and wonderful occurrences that make royal weddings so special.

From the tacky merchandise (teapot with Harry and Meghan’s faces on it, anyone?) to the surprise celebrity invitees and the over-the-top pomp and ceremony, there’s something about a big royal occasion that makes for compelling viewing. Add our bingo cards into the mix and you’ve got the makings of a whole royal wedding-themed party!

How to play royal wedding bingo

To play the 365Tickets royal wedding bingo game, all you need to do is print off the five bingo cards below.

When the big day comes around, hand out the dobbers and stamp your card the first time you see or hear each “thing” – whether it’s a phrase (such as a mention of Harry’s “party days”) or a sight (like an appearance from Elton John). If it’s in speech marks on your bingo card, listen out for a mention; if it’s not, keep your eyes peeled for an appearance.

If you really want to impress your guests, buy some prizes for the first to get a line (four squares in a row), four corners (each of the four corner squares) and a full house (every square on a card). Enjoy!
