With our exciting adventure playground, an enchanted walk with a surprise around every corner and a chance to meet our amazing animals, there is so much to see and do. Everything is designed with disabled children in mind, but Fairytale Farm can be enjoyed by everybody.

Fairytale Farm is made up of three main zones, offering children (and adults) a full sensory experience:
• Our magical, sensory Enchanted Walk.
• The Huff and Puff adventure playground.
• Meet Alfie and Friends, our amazing animals!
Take a stroll along our Enchanted Walk. A sensory experience for all the family, this magical journey invites you to look, touch, smell and listen along the way. Here, you’ll find:
Take a peek into the lives of some famous fairytale characters.
The Mermaid Garden
Meet our giant mermaid and her army of sea creature friends.
A place to touch, smell and see a variety of plants and flowers. Or take the chance to relax in the beautiful surroundings of our garden whilst listening to the hypnotic trickling of our fountains and water features.
Listen to the crazy sounds of our animal band.
Niagara Falls Water Play
A natural environment in which children can experiment with water. Have fun with a water wheel, dams, water channels and water trays.
Enjoy our fun, sensory weather area. Discuss ‘What the Weather Is’ and enjoying making rain sounds.
The Giant’s Camera
Have your picture taken by our giant camera – and watch as your photo appears on the enormous screen (*coming soon*).
Giant Party Poppers
You won’t believe the size of these party poppers. Join us at night when they come to life with dazzling, shimmering lights (on selected illuminated evenings).
Children will love to perform on the colourful, mellow-sounding chimes. *More instruments coming soon.*
See our collection of unique fountain-shaped plants and marvel as they light up to create a simulated fountain show (on selected illuminated evenings).
Huff and Puff
Burn off energy and have loads of fun in our adventure playground area – where kids of all abilities can:
Climb our timber play structures and whoosh down our exciting slides.
Jump on board our giant combine harvester.
Explore our very own Storybook Castle – where fairytales can come to life.
Swing on the Nest Swing or on our fabulous wheelchair swing.
Alfie and Friends
Get to know all our animals (including our mascot Alfie the Alpaca) up close and personal! Our educational animal zone is packed with amazingly sociable creatures who are waiting to make friends with you and your children.
Come and say ‘hi’ to:
Fairytale Ponies – our miniature Shetland ponies are perfect for little princesses.
The Old Woman and her Pig – our TV star pigs. Their house was blown down by a wolf so they now live happily ever after, snoring away in the ark!
The Two Little Pigs – Winston and Edgar are our two little Kune Kune pigs. They’re very gentle and super cute!
The Four Billy Goats Gruff – they safely crossed the troll bridge and have settled in beautifully at Fairytale Farm.
The Donkey, from the Brothers Grimm – can you make our donkey smile?!
Magical Rheas – gorgeous South American birds, as tall as your children, that were hatched here at Fairytale Farm.
Chicken-Licken – free-range and friendly, you’ll find several breeds of chicken including our fluffy Silkies.
Turkey Lurkie and Friends – arriving on the farm this July!
Alfie and Friends – inquisitive and alert, Alfie the Alpaca and his friends love to watch the world go by here at Fairytale Farm.
And, don’t worry if the weather’s not too good. Our cafe, shop and indoor play area with toys, musical instruments, books and sensory pictures will keep everyone warm, dry and entertained!
We want to make sure EVERY Fairytale Farm visitor has a great time! Fairytale Farm has been designed with disabled children in mind. This page will help you to plan your visit.
We have plenty of parking, with dedicated disabled parking spaces closest to the entrance. Please display a valid blue badge with photograph in your vehicle at all times.
The park has been designed with wheelchairs in mind with wide, flat paths and plenty of space. This means it’s perfect for prams and buggies too.
One carer or helper may be admitted free of charge with every disabled visitor (please note, you may be asked to supply photographic ID or evidence of your disability, e.g. a blue or orange badge). If you need help to buy your tickets, please just ask – we’re happy to assist.
Toilets with disabled access are available in the Cafe at Fairytale Farm.
First Aid Centre
This is located at the Admissions Desk. A member of staff will be happy to assist.

Unless stipulated in the booking process all bookings require customers to print their voucher off in order to be exchanged for entry to the attraction or tour. We cannot guarantee entry without a printed voucher and will not be able to cancel or refund customers who do not print the vouchers and therefore can't gain access to the venue or tour.
If you cannot print your voucher off for any reason please contact us before arriving at the venue.
